Media Best/Worst

Obviously there is some bias towards the media that seem slanted towards Mahomes/Chiefs, but I'm still wondering what the thoughts are on CP toward certain media personalities.

Who do you have for the best/worst?

I tend to lean towards the gents who break down plays and show some respect with knowledge. These dudes all have excellent Twitter feeds.
My Best:
Chris Simms
Dan Orlovsky
Brian Baldinger

Obviously these dudes are haters. They may be taking the opposite side just to debate, but they are fools.
My Worst:
Skip Bayless
Eric Mangini
Deion Sanders

Dumbshit Deion was still trying to hype Lamar Jackson as equal to Mahomes during the freaking Super Bowl postgame show after Mahomes just won the Super Bowl MVP.

Deion has marketed himself and his bombastic personality a nice little career. doesn't provide anything significant or any real alalysis; ....it's just Deion

his act is old and tired. nothing worse than an old man still trying to be hip.

Great list. They aren’t talented actors, so the have to actually work and stick to what they know.

Whitlock and Nick Wright with their KC connections have been pro-Chiefs.

Shannon Sharpe has been pro-Mahomes for the past two years as has Adam Schein.

Yeah, Whitlock was riding Mahomes' tip leading up to the SB, but that fat bastard has also be a nay-sayer and non believer at many times over the past few years. He's a cardiogram with his takes; sometimes he can succinctly crystallize a point better than anyone... and then a day later come up with some incredibly lame take that shows little mental rigor.

Yes, Shannon loves him some "Mahomie" *cringe*, but that chiclet-toothed donkey also picked the 9ers to win.

Nick Wright has been the most consistent of all, I'd say. When I lived in KC I found him annoying at times but he's matured and polished his delivery. Good for him.

Agree 100% with Bayless being the head of the dipshit list.

Dont even know if Stephen A Smith counts as media but if so he is my #2

I knew that Skip Bayless was an asshole and a hack, but I really want to punch Eric Mangini in the face. He acts like Brady is the best ever, and praises him for all the comeback wins in big games, but when talking about Mahomes and the comebacks, he instead blames Mahomes for letting the other team get the lead.

What a ****ing double standard. It really, really pisses me off. Mahomes didn't let anyone get the lead, because he doesn't play defense. And the entire offense has struggled, because Mahomes can't throw it AND catch it too. Did he play like a regular QB in the first half against the Pats great D in the AFCCG last year, and the 49ers great D this year for three quarters?

Yes. But he won both of those games, really, Dee Ford not withstanding. He gives Brady and Manning credit for leading comebacks, and blames Mahomes for being down and needing to comeback in the first place. Make me want to scream. I know we won, and nothing said on TV by am idiot changes that, but the double standard just makes me angry.

Trent Dilfer belongs at the top or near the top of dipshits....

Whitlock was on Lamar's dick all season, then jumped on the Chiefs bandwagon when it was clear they were going to make a run, and then tried to say before the SB they were primed for a fall. **** that noise...

Florio and Pro Football Talk are probably the most anti-Chiefs people out there. Aikman at least does a little better job of hiding his disdain.

Bayless is just a troll, not even worth mentioning or responding to. Doing so plays right into his schtick. He doesn't believe the things he says either. He's just getting dummies to emote over it for clicks.

This is kind of a weird source but for years my favorite NFL show has been yahoo's fantasy football live. Its pretty entertaining even if youre not into fantasy football. Its a great free morning show that goes for an hour (maybe its 30 minutes now though) before the morning kickoff on sundays.. (so 11AM or 11:30 AM till noon, KC time) and gives a pretty good rundown of the current injury report for the day and also the duds and studs and matchups...

If you havent checked that show out its pretty good for a pre-game show thats not just focused on chiefs but across the league

Yeah, Youtube has changed the way i get my sports commentary. I don't even bother with a lot of outside of guys i go looking for specifically.

Chris Simms
Lefkoe
Baldinger
Nick Wright
and i listen up whenever Louis Riddick talks too.
Nick Hardwick is a good listen (charger be damned) but that may be more of a local thing.
