Im not so sure about that. He was a big help, but his amount of snaps was so limited, especially the further into the year that we got. After week 14 he only played more than 20 snaps 1 time.

Week 14 - 18 snaps - 94 rush yards allowed
Week 15 - 17 snaps
Week 16 - 14 snaps
Week 17 - 14 snaps
Playoff Game 1 - 13 snaps
Playoff Game 2 - 24 snaps
Super Bowl - 15 snaps

He did a damn good job when he was in, but no one with that limited amount of snaps is going to be the sole reason for the run D's turn around. It was several factors that played into the run D's improvement.

With that being said I want him to come back and would think a 2 yr/$12 mil or at most 3 yr/$18 mil. 3 years is the absolute max I'd do, but 2 years takes him to 30 years old. He just finished out a 2 yr/$8 mil, so the above contract would be a nice little raise.
