Legs are too heavy for the Chiefs offense, IMO. And that whole "convert to a TE" thing just doesn't work all that often. Granted, Kelce's a TE in name only in a lot of ways, but being able to run routes like Kelce does at his size is just so damn rare.

That's the thing that people often underestimate when it comes to 'converting' these big ol' WRs - those guys need to run damn good routes when they're working in congested areas to make room for themselves. Few can.

It's not as simple as "take a big guy that runs well and make him a TE" because without the space to use their length to get separation, most guys simply can't get open. It takes an amazingly agile technician to be able to get open in small areas at that size. That's what makes a TE effective vs. being an oversized slow WR.

Claypool doesn't look like that guy to me. He just looks like Mikhael Ricks.

I liked Boykin far more than I like Claypool this year.

Makes more sense for a team that has a QB that can't throw for shit.

If you are responsible for making picks for an NFL team you should make some plans though...

Look at this, this is why I question shit like that...

127.1

Mbps download

11.3

Mbps upload

Latency: 25 ms
Server: Chicago, IL
Your Internet speed is very fast

Your Internet connection should be able to handle multiple devices streaming HD videos, video conferencing, and gaming at the same time.

So you are telling me dudes who make millions have internet that can't handle 3 things at once...right..this speed is on wireless...if I was wired up I'd be at like 270..

I think this is teams that feel unprepared, namely the ones with bad GM's/coaches that make a lot of bad decisions pining to get the draft pushed back so they are promoting this.

I discussed this though, you're problem is likely this...That or we have idiotic people that don't realize, if you live in a mansion sized house, you probably need to have new equipment, likely more than 1 router, extenders, and if you make millions you're home office should be hard wired, you can spend the extra couple hundred bucks to have it done.

Or you know in this situation they could have just changed their setup to business class, not like they can't afford it, and it would have solved a ton of this.

And to add....I once wanted to see if I could saturate my 270mb connection so I turned on a bunch of computers and tablets. I gave up when I had 7 HD videos running and got to 25mb. Either A) those kids were using their ipads to download dozens of torrents each or B) that coach has 137 kids or C) his internet and/or wifi is shit. If I had to guess I would say that he probably has a 1gb internet connection running 802.11a from a router in the far corner of the basement.

No one is going to sell me that you can't figure this out when you have millions of dollars. I pay ****ing 80 dollars a month and I could right now...Stream in 4k in 3 spots...flip on about 10 tvs to stream, play games, download games, do shit on the PC all while my wife works and it doesn't drop..in today's world there is no excuse for this.

Or maybe the decision maker should be at teams facility where they can control the speed and availability of the connection.

It took me literally years to get high internet speeds to work at a high speed all throughout my home and it wasn't really "right" until 2017.

We still don't get solid cell reception, so it doesn't come as a surprise to me. And there are times where our internet speed will slow down considerably, which requires a whole home reboot and takes about 10 minutes and that's only if it's working properly after a reboot.

It's a ploy, there are several teams that want this pushed back and aren't confident in making picks without all the info they usually have....they're scared so they are playing this game to try to get it postponed.

But Dane....if you made 2 million dollars a year at least, and this was coming up, wouldn't you have a professional come out to your home and do whatever it took to get it right?

If it's true it is most likely a coach that doesn't understand how stuff works and they've never taken the time to get it right, so many people don't understand how wifi even works.

Hillside home (and even others) are built with solid steel girders and in many cases, millions of pounds of concrete.

It can be super complicated to set up solid internet connections all throughout the home and we'll still have problems from time to time, and that's with a $300 dollar wireless router and a couple of AC Points that are normally used in hotels and restaurants with Spectrum speeds beyond 400 mbps.

I'd be concerned if I was running the NFL draft from my house for sure.

If you have a bunch of steel in your house, or you have that old chicken wire shit or a brick wall in your interior that will decimate your wifi...

That person needs to basically be at team headquarters because of that.

Not really related, but I can imagine there's quite a bit of stress in these homes. Laugh at that because of the money they make, but most of these NFL front office guys and coaches are almost NEVER home and always working. This has to be a new world for them and their families.

I think it can be a number of factors, income aside. He could have hired a bad Audio/Visual contractor, there could be a fault in one of their devices, the internet provider may have not upgraded the lines, which are above ground here in SoCal and so on. And since his kids are home and not in school, they may have never stressed their system to this point.

I went through hell last year with Spectrum because my internet speed was cut in half once I added their TV package. They replaced all kinds of gear outdoors and indoors but the problem was never solved, so I went back to Direct TV. After that, our internet speed went back to where it was prior to the adding Spectrum TV.

We are also "at the end of the line", so the signal is weaker, which required Spectrum to increase the signal as well.

The bottom line is that I think his situation is totally possible.
