They'll be a playoff contender with or without Gronkowski because their defense is ****ing tits and their perimeter weapons are among the best in the league.

And Tom Brady won't throw 30 INT's.

Good luck with that.
I am leaning towards this. I believe Brady has 1 decent year left, but Gronk has about 4 games left.

Gronk got his break. He's only 30. Brady is the wild card. Can he do enough to win with a totally new team? Will the wall hit him before December? It will happen soon.

It's 'mongoloid,' dipstick.

Your contention was that we couldn't win a SB if we signed a 44 year-old TE2 or TE3. I still would like an explanation for that viewpoint. Especially when there have been and will be starting QBs that have played into their early 40s.

Bring em on. I’d love to see Brady (& Co.) v. KC in the SB.

That is entertainment.

Hmm suddenly I very much want it to be the Buccs playing us in the SB. I hope they get Edelman too. It's time we put these old timers away for good.

The regular season game may end up having the highest SNF ratings of the year

It's going to be interesting to see what happens in that division. The Panthers are pretty washed up (they were 5-11 with a horrible -130 point differential). The Saints were clearly the class of the division (13-3,+117). Then you had the Falcons and Bucs in the middle with 7-9, the Falcons a -18 and the Bucs a +9. It's a weird division, full of aging QBs who still have the ability to play well. Depending on how the Falcons do this season, I could see the Bucs going anywhere from 12-4 to 9-7. Will it be enough to unseat the Saints? Will it be enough to get the Bucs past the logjam of strong NFC teams (Cowboys, Eagles, Niners, Seahawks, Rams, Packers, Vikings... seven teams who altogether averaged a +73)? Does a 43-year-old QB and a year-retired injury-prone former stud TE have enough to bring the offense to a level where it can make the playoffs and win playoff games? The NFC is going to be fascinating... as opposed to the AFC, where the storyline is simply, "Can the Ravens do enough to get some lucky bounces and beat the Chiefs in the AFCCG?"

You serious? In the midst of everything going on, I haven’t even really paid attention to the schedule.

Now I’m psyched.

Adding an extra playoff team to each conference should make the regular season even more important to teams on the edge of making the playoffs.

Defensively, Tampa is near elite. They have some excellent perimeter weapons on offense and an excellent head coach and defensive coordinator.

Their offensive line is their Achilles heel, although they have an opportunity to upgrade because they're picking early enough in Round 1. If they can come to terms with Shaq Barrett before July 15th, they'll have an opportunity to trade for some offensive lineman as well, maybe even Thuney.

They're close.

Yeah, the Chiefs are at New Orleans and at Tampa Bay this season, so I'd imagine we'll see both on either SNF and/or TNF.

Quick think of every terrible trademark combo before Brady makes his TB12 application. Then blackmail him for some nudes of Gisele. Then forward me those nudes as a thank you for the idea.
