But Taylor would be a weird fit for KC. Inside zone runner and we have castoffs at guard-center-guard.

I would think the other 3 all fit better for KC. They are all pretty close and do different things better. Dobbins best outside zone (what we would want).

Our offense seems to be more predicated on guys who can separate and stretch the defense to create opportunity. Sorta like how the 3 point shot opened up so many other options for the Warriors a couple years back. Putting that type of strain on a defense with Mahomes at QB leads to those crazy runs we go on.

I like him, just not for our offense.

That i would agree with. I think he'll be a good player for someone. But yeah, i prefer the Chiefs philosophy.

I'm thinking we have to nail 2 corners or a CB and safety. Denver and the Raiders are grabbing good WR's in the 1st.

Check out the puke-tastic Chad Reuter 7 round mock. I would definitely bitch if this were what Veach came up with.

Reuter doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. He has Antoine Winfield and Xavier McKinney going in the 3rd round. Kmet is way the **** overdrafted with the 1st pick of the 2nd round. AJ Epenesa goes at pick ****ing 46???

1.32- Lloyd Cushenberry, C, LSU
2.63- Malik Harrison, LB, Ohio State
3.96- Michael Ojemudia, CB, Iowa
4.138- Isaiah Coulter, WR, Rhode Island
5.177- Anthony McFarland, RB, Maryland

CEH fanboys: the dude is NOT a good pass blocker.

Charkandrick West had an extended stay in KC for this quality alone. I cannot see a situation where Bieniemy/McCullough sign off on him because of this. Yes he can learn, but between fumbles by Shady, the durability of Williams 1 and 2, and Thompson’s lacklustre debut, I’m thinking they might be clamouring for a complete back who excels in all phases. CEH is a great talent, but I think he’s more a James White/Dion Lewis type of back.

Lloyd Cushenberry would be the ultimate CP nightmare for the posters calling everyone true fans.

I’m not gonna bitch if they draft a guy that will give us good IOL play like Rodney Hudson and Mitch Morse (when he wasn’t hurt) to protect our $200 million investment

Lots of versatile weapons out there. Antonio Gibson is an example of a versatile guy you probably get in round 3. KJ Hamler is versatile. Aiyuk is versatile and better at everything, including YAC, and a more likely pick at 32. Just options, but I don't think versatile qualifies a guy as a first rounder.

Would you take Cushenberry over Ruiz? Do you think Cushenberry is the best C in this draft?

Reuter has Ruiz going in the 2nd.

Taking a center like Cushenberry or Ruiz would be a bad idea this year because there are no Minicamps, Rookie Camps or OTA's. There would be no way for a rookie center to have any type of chemistry with the other offensive lineman.

Plus, how in the world is a Center going to be able to call all of the line protections and communicate with the other four starters if they haven't practiced extensively together in Reid's system?

It would make more sense for the Chiefs to draft a center/guard in the 4th or 5th than in the first round so that he could learn the scheme, playcalls and protections without being forced to do so on Day One with zero experience.

I initially guessed Zach Baun, but in looking at the pre-draft visits, I think it'll be a cornerback. Maybe Terrell.
