Asked Chiefs GM Brett Veach, who last week complimented the CB depth of draft, if it was important to come out of draft with a CB.

Veach said team will consider CB in addition to DL tomorrow, but pointed out team could also go FA route for a CB: "There's talent out there."

Disagree. Prince, Ryan and Dennard would all be much better than any CB we could possibly get now...especially someone like Ryan. I'm hoping we get Bryce Hall tomorrow but if not Id be more than happy with a FA. At this point experience is key where our defense is concerned imo.

I completely agree with everything you said. I hope for Bryce Hall as well but if we go the FA route were not gonna have any money left. I have no idea who you can restructure now

I think any CB we get would likely be a cheap one year deal. Prince has played on a great Bears defense, Dennard visited the Chiefs last year and almost signed and Ryan saw first hand how good we are In the AFC championship game. Add one of these guys to the CB room and I think our CB group is BETTER than it was last year.

A similar deal to what Breeland got? The more they are free agents, the more their demands will lower and having the chance to win a ring should become a priority.

Okay you’ve convinced me. If we don’t get Hall tomorrow we should look at a FA CB. Yes we do have Ward Fenton, Brown, Hamilton and Breeland but we need depth

I think Hall and Robinson are the CB's they will consider tomorrow...if they don't get either then for sure they will get a FA imo.
