I said as clean as possible. I don't have any disillusions about what takes place during recruiting, but I think that Self tries to stay above board as much as possible.

He once saw John Wall after a tournament in high school, and just said "good game John" and then realized that he had committed an infraction, and self reported himself for it. I don't think he is arranging $100K payouts.

I think all blue blood programs probably commit some violations, but he isn't having people take the ACT for players ala Calipari at Memphis, or making huge cash payments like Sean Miller.

And Adidas isn't the only shoe company that has reps out steering kids to certain schools. Nike is notorious for steering kids to their sponsored schools.

But really, they are breaking NCAA rules, so who cares. The NCAA needs to be investigated for fraud and corruption more than any member school.
