Yes. It’s written all over Mahomes contract.
Look at the cap hits for Buckner’s deal. Really not that bad if we can backloads this thing: 2020-23.378 2021-17 2022-16 2023-19.75 2024-20.25 If Veach can maneuver a little more and have Chris Jones biggest cap hit this year with Mahomes making only $5.36 million it will make this deal look like highway robbery. Imagine Chris Jones at similar cap hits to Buckners from 2021-2024? Damn
