The feel-good headline here is seeing our #1 conference rival experience chaos right before the season begins. Thomas isn't what he once was, but they have tied up a lot of cash in the guy and thought they had that whole Safety situation under control. Here’s a couple Lamar Jackson stats for you.
Last season, 27 of his 36 passing TDs came against non playoff teams. He only threw for over 250 yards 3 times, and those were in the first 3 weeks of the season. I think it’s still absolutely fair to question his staying power in the league due to his struggles as a passer.
