We have Mahomes now, who went into 3 Rivers and beat them for the first time since the 80's, plus he threw 6 TD's.

The Steelers will never get a kind word from me. Hope that clears it up.
Who said anything about being scared of the Steelers or that they are the boogeyman?

We just agreed that they will be better than the Ravens and like our biggest competition in the conference.

Better than the Ravens OR the Colts. But let’s be honest. It’s the Chiefs and a bunch of high school teams. Don’t you dare talk anyone up.

Based on what? Ravens swept the Steelers last year. Big Ben has his old arm stitched up, but how long will that last? He is a statue back there. I can't stand the Ravens but their running game is pretty legit and looks to be better this year.

I hope we get the Steelers coming into Arrowhead for the playoffs this year. It will be great to send them home and Ben into retirement.

Steelers went 8-8 with arguably the worst QB situation in the league last year. Most teams win half as many games with that horrible of a QB situation.

Say what you want about the Ravens but I’ll take the Steelers as a better opponent for us.

Big Ben has won a lot of high pressure games. Has Lamar even won one yet?

To me, beating these three teams last year, even with it culminating in the long dreamed about Super Bowl victory, wasn't as emotionally satisfying as finally staking those cocksucking Colts in the playoffs the year before.

I want playoff wins against the Colts, the $tealer$, the Donx. I want to crush their ****ing souls as they have crushed ours. Only that will truly make up for the decades of pain we endured at their hands.
You know, as bad as the Chiefs have been for so long, I can find reasons to hate each and every non-Chiefs team. Well, anymore. I used to hate the Chiefs quite a bit too LOL

You were refuting the idea that the Steelers might be a challenger to the Chiefs. It wasn't a joke, come on.

The simple fact is that nobody here thinks the Steelers are a legitimate challenge to the Chiefs right now and somehow you read into it that they did.

The point was that if anybody COULD be, it would more likely be the Steelers than the ****ing Colts. If you want a bogeyman, look there. The Colts aren't even good enough to win their division, let alone set themselves up as a rival to the Chiefs yet some people seem to think they're the next best thing in the AFC.

My unreasoning hatred of those particular teams doesn't come from the bad times; it comes from the times we were actually good and got assraped in the playoffs because of the lamest shit imaginable, whether it was bad field goal kickers, poor coaching, cooking spray, bent officiating, no punts, a blown 28-3 halftime lead, a batted shitty pass that turned into a touchdown... ****. Sorry, but one Super Bowl victory doesn't make all that shit go away.

Although four of five more might.
