They were literally saying "run it we don't care" and then we are all like "OK! We will run it" and then we get no gain and Bill is like "come on Andy rack up those rushing yards with that new toy of yours" and then we tried and tried and failed, but we still won.

The offense wasn't stalling out because of Patrick. It's because we couldn't block or run.
Vanilla playcalling by Coach Reid did not help the situation. If Cam Newton was involved in that game, I think Andy would have called more creative plays.

So they spend all this time praising the Patriots in a game that . . . . wait for it . . . . . . . they lost 26-10.

I mean, if you didn’t already know the final score of the game and had not tuned it at all and just watched that video (at least up until the 17 minute mark), you’d have thought the Pats won by a score of 26-10.

I’ve never seen two guys spend so much time praising a team that lost by 16 points.

Just ****ing weird.
Are you implying that the Chiefs offense DIDN'T look like ass in that game? Just because we won doesn't mean that there isn't a ton to learn from.

Patriots are just very difficult to run against. In a more competitive game, I think Reid passes more and we make a few more chunk plays downfield.

I'm happy Mahomes got some good reps against them so he is more prepared if we see them again in a few months.

The Defending Champs get everybody's "A game", and it is hard to be up for that challenge each and every week. That's why it is hard to repeat, essentially every week your opponent is in their playoff mode, especially if the Defending Champ is still undefeated. Expect the Raiders to be in their "Playoff Mode" this Sunday.

Yep.

Several factors conspired and the offense didn't look "great".

That being said, Patrick finished with a QBR of 59.5 and a rating of 113.6, both above average.

To say the Patriots "slowed" them is accurate. To say the Patriots provided some kind of blueprint to beat them is inaccurate.

We are struggling to run the ball. On the flip side we have faced good DLs so far. It will get better as the season goes.

For all the talk about Pat struggling against BB’s defense, Mahomes is 2-2 against BB in his career, should have been 3-1 (AFC Title Game) and very easily could have been 4-0 (last second loss at NE in 2018 on a FG).

People seem to forget that.

If you take into account the actual record and the circumstances of the losses, I’m fairly certain Pat has fared better against BB than about any QB in the NFL that has gone up against him multiple times.

The other night was his worst game against Bill. And it was still above the league average in both QBR and rating.

The kid has literally NEVER had a bad game (per QBR or rating) EVER. That's pretty freaking amazing.
