No one is questioning his toughness or dedication to the team. But back problems are what they are. Sure, there are guys that come back, but that's an exception. Plus, he'll be 34 at the start of camp.

Mitch doesn’t seem like the type of guy who is going to hang us out to dry again if he isn’t confident he will be able to suit up next year.

I’m assuming retirement until he says for sure otherwise.

I love Schwartz, and I love Fisher too, for that matter. Tough guys, good players, true warriors.

But I think it would be a huge mistake to count on either being 100% in 2021.

I think the only responsible thing is to assume you won't have them available and conduct your offseason accordingly.

Replacing 1 OT in an offseason is tough, but 2 is ridiculous.

If Niang can even be above average at either, that’s a huge win. Allegretti, LDT, and Niang all being average or above average at 3 spots next year would really be a huge relief.
