The Chiefs haven't had a solid, let alone spectacular, left guard since Brian Waters retired.

Thuney will automatically improve the center and left tackle positions because he's just so freaking good, so it may not be necessary to go all in on Williams.

Florio says 5 years, $80 million.

Oh I know I know.

This is a great signing. I’m just saying I really want Williams too. That would make this a HR offseason immediately.

I don't disagree but I think that the left side of the line just got a huge upgrade, so if they decided to go with Reiff or trade for Dillard, the left side will be in the best shape it's been since I can't even remember when.

2010 maybe?

I’m just ready to see what they do at LT then I’ll get very excited about this signing.

Dude. The next time the Chiefs play a team with a damn good interior pass rusher this guy will erase them.

Watch the SB from 3 years ago. Thuney was more than holding his own against Aaron Donald

We just got a lot better today

No doubt.

LT needs to be addressed.

Agreed. This is a great start but that LT needs addressed. Thuney had enough of that CAM crap, because once a multi-SB winning LG always a SB winning guard.

Trade for Dillard would be great. I am curious to see what Prince Wago can do too however I get it if they don't wanna risk Pat's blind side to a 6th round pick who they grabbed off the scrap heap.
