I'm not sure. I was actively searching for a vehicle, so I knew I wouldn't be sitting on them for any length of time. I assume that they are valid so long as I can remember my carfax id/password, but then again they may have an expiration date.


And no, it's not a trap. Anyone who wants one won't have to give me any info except the VIN of the car they are looking at.
