First, nobody knows what a "reach" really is with this draft. You'll see guys like Forsythe mocked anywhere from the mid-2nd to the end of the FIFTH. It's all throwing darts at this point, so I don't think we can definitively say.

That being said, the offensive linemen on the list are probably 2nd rounders at best. However, Samuel, Moehrig, and Barmore are all 1st round talents. None of them would be a reach at 31. Heck, they might not even be there at 31.

So if the consensus is he's somewhere between a mid 2nd and a 5th round pick, I'd call taking him in the 1st a reach, by definition.

I said "most" would be a reach in the 1st, the only definite 1st rounder on that list is Barmore, who probably doesn't make it to 31 and I wouldn't love it as the Chiefs pick if he did.

Moehrig is borderline, its about 50/50 from the people I follow if he's a 1st or a 2nd. I'd like him for the Chiefs if they can't fill any of the more pressing needs with a quality player at 31.

All the other guys are 2nd or later rounders per the work of multiple people that I read / follow, therefore I think reach.

I'm not big on the whole "reach" thing. Even the best of the talking heads only know so much.

I mean, LOTS of people thought Patrick Mahomes was a reach.

But I get your point - about half the list is 2nd or 3rd rounders
