Yeah, me too. I don't have that kind of time left anymore. When the Royals won it all in 1985 I was 26 years old. What does that have to do with anything? They got beaten by the Padres, Reds, Brewers, Cubs, and Angels in their 3-14 stretch. Only one of those teams is in their division.

Well......I was 36 in 1985. And now with a terrible heart. So I have some doubts whether I will have enough gas in the tank to see them.........even if they do it this year!! I hope I am wrong and I hope I am here 5-10 years from now. But the odds of that are miniscule.

But that doesn't mean that I can't enjoy what there is left!

I just can't stand the losing.

We've already had two 100 loss seasons since winning the World Series. It used to be 100 loss seasons was the mark of true baseball awfulness. Seems like we've gotten used to it around here. Can we at least settle for a .500 team and build from there?
