It seems many people are wondering if Fountain, Robinson, both or neither will make the team this year. Lots of speculation and angst surround this question it seems.

Like Elon Musk, I believe the chances are very high that we live in a simulated reality and that all these things are just part of the simulation. However, I also believe the simulation gives us hints of what is to come so that it seems familiar to us once it does.

On this basis, I contend that the only way for us to truly know ahead of time if Fountain or Robinson will make the team is by looking for those names in pop culture references. These could be TV, movies, songs or any other medium. I think the best use of our time between now and final cuts is for us to create a laundry list of pop culture references for each of these names and then count them up. This clearly will predict their future with the Chiefs. Let me get us started:

Robinson
- Mrs. Robsnson - Simon & Garfunkel
- The Graduate - the same Mrs. Robinson
- Lost in Space - Will Robinson
- Robinson Caruso - Daniel Defoe
- Meet the Robinsons - 2007

Fountain

If it is talking about the 4/5/6 WR spot I don't think you can let a guy like Fountain go over keeping someone like DRob, or even Kemp for that matter.

Fountain has some athletic ability that you simply don't want going to another team to untap, only to keep the likes of yet again, DRob or even Kemp for that matter. Known commodities that will never amount to anything in the NFL other than JAG. It's at least time to move on from DRob for someone who has more upside than him at the 4/5/6 WR spot.

Whoever makes the 53 between Fountain and Powell means the other will go to the PS. All frickin Nostradamus up in here.

It does raise some questions about skill groupings and how many they keep per each one. 6 WRs mean only 3 TEs? Only 3 RBs mean 4 TEs? 4 RBs and 4 TEs mean only 5 WRs?
