Why is Dan Sorensen playing so much?

Short version, make a tackle, save a TD = valuable. But that's just my take. How can you make a satement like that when he has 3 (10%) for negative or no yards, 6 (20%) for 1-4 yards, and 9 (30%) within 5-9 yards? That's 60% of his tackles and he's a safety.
