On paper, this should be a shoot-out, close game, and I would expect KC to pull it out with some Mahomes magic.

Something though...something tells me that's not what's going to go down.

Buffalo has been feasting on bullshit dregs of the league and got beat by the only decent team they've played (and Pittsburgh is only kind of decent.)

It was about this time in '19 when the defense showed up. We're getting some guys back...

Something in my gut tells me it's a statement game, a pride game, and The Chiefs win in dominant fashion.

This is where I’m at. And I know the narrative around the defense is they are worst than ever, worst in the league, etc. Now I don’t know I think they are average yet but I don’t think they are as bad as perception suggests. The first two games were against teams who run on everyone so of course they ran on us who are just not built to stop the run and really haven’t been. Despite that we had both games won and lost due to a terrible fumble and giving up a broken coverage play pass TD.

The defense was plenty fine against the Chargers and if the offense had even half the turnovers we probably win by 10. The Eagles made some plays but with the game in question got 23 points. Not great but plenty good enough for that game.

I don’t expect to hold them under 20 but I do expect to hold them under 30 and think they get something like 23 points which will win this game for us probably by two scores. I definitely don’t see them having their way with the defense.
