***OFFICIAL Chiefs vs. Bills GAME THREAD***

It's here. Sunday.

Sunday is one of the top days for playing NFL football. In fact, it's the main one.

And when it comes to NFL football, I don't know about y'all, but my favorite team? Is the KANSAS CITY CHIEFS.

They are scheduled to play. TONIGHT. Against one of my least favorite teams (31-way tie): the Buffalo Bills.

The Buffalo Bills and their fans would like to win this game against the Kansas City Chiefs that's happening tonight (Sunday night). But here's the thing:

THE

KANSAS

CITY

CHIEFS

WILL

WIN

THE

GAME

INSTEAD!!!!!

Our quarterback is: the best one
Their quarterback is: some corn fed California farm boy piece of shit

Our head coach is: a football genius who's fat as ****
Their head coach is: some skinny Irish bitch

Our secret weapon is: JOSH GORDON AKA FLASH GORDON AKA THE DOOBIE BROTHER
Their secret weapon is: replacing natural selection with a series of tailgate folding tables

Our food is: THE BEST BARBECUE IN THE WORLD!!!
Their food is: literally called a "garbage plate"

And if ANYONE tries to say that garbage plates are Rochester, not Buffalo: SLEEP WITH ONE EYE OPEN TONIGHT, HOW DARE YOU CORRECT ME, I WILL ****ING FIND YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Face it, Bills fans: YOU'RE ****ING DOOMED. And your shitty little team is going to lose, too!!!!

IF WE HIT 100 POSTS IN THIS THREAD THE CHIEFS WILL WIN THE GAME LET'S ****ING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

That’s literally the problem though. It’s obviously our year for the turnovers. It happens as we all recall. Then it goes the other way. We played as bad a game as we have in the Mahomes era, and it was eerily reminiscent of the SB. Defense is embarrassingly bad, offense has gone stagnant. Patrick is running for his life still on a majority of snaps. Watching every top tier team get receivers unbelievably wide, while our guys who used to do it are getting shut down. What is the recipe to beat the “blueprint” on our offense? Our short game just isn’t consistent. But it’s clear tonight the whole team was just off. Well the offense was, the defense has t had a pulse since the second half of week 1.

Spags won't be fired until the end of the season.
There's no money to restructure the defense, but Andy will be forced to get a tough-as-nails smash-mouth defensive coach.
More likely will hire another shitty defensive coach. We are cursed. When is the last time we had a decent defensive coordinator?

Because people are saying shit like "the dynasty is dead" when we still have the best quarterback on earth lmao

I don't feel particularly confident about this team going all the way this year, but the offense is too talented and turnovers are too volatile for this quasi-slump to be sustainable. Not to mention that the offense was still #1 going into this game despite not looking like itself.

The defense needs a lot of changes, probably staring with Spags, but they were playing unsustainably poorly and indeed managed to slow down the Bills in the second half. They only need to be a bit better than 2018 and that's very doable.

This isn't the best team in the league anymore, no, but if you can just get Patrick Mahomes into the playoffs, you've got a legitimate chance at a Super Bowl.

We hosted an AFCCG for the first time in a generation in 2018 and still made major changes on defense because they needed to be made. The OL lost us a Super Bowl and so they rebuilt it, and I think there's plenty of reason to be optimistic about that rebuild paying off. We all know changes will need to be made this off-season regardless of the outcome, and I'm pretty sure this FO knows that, too.

I absolutely understand the pessimism right now, and I share a lot of it, but I don't think "the sky is falling" is the clear-eyed and rational position.

Mahomes, rubbing his eyes after being woke up for the 6th time.

Mahomes needs to be better for sure, but he's not getting much help out there. The Pick 6 INT was 1,000% Tyreek's fault. Ball was in the right spot, and Tyreek bobbled it to the defender.

A down year season for Mahomes is still a great season for any other QB apart from ARod and Brady.

You guys don't have to race to prop him up. We know he's great. That's why the standard for him is absurdly high.
