DT Fletcher Cox and OT Andre Dillard
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/e...-no-fire-sale/
Eagles drawing heavy trade attention ahead of deadline; Philly open to possibilities, but it's no fire sale Repeated inquiries have been made about Fletcher Cox and Andre Dillard By Jason La Canfora Oct 31, 2021 at 8:04 am ET The rebuilding Eagles are drawing heavy attention around the NFL as the trade deadline nears, league sources said, with other teams making repeated inquiries for star defensive tackle Fletcher Cox and emerging offensive tackle Andre Dillard. And though Philadelphia's aggressive general manager Howie Roseman is likely not done making trades, the odds of a blockbuster are not high. The Eagles have recently traded tight end Zach Ertz and veteran quarterback Joe Flacco, and remain very open to moving other veterans in the final year of their contracts, league sources said. But this is not a fire sale, sources said, the likes of which is going on in Houston with most of the roster available for trade, and the Eagles will be judicious about not just dumping salary of players who could still help them in 2022 and beyond. Philadelphia (2-5) has three first-round picks in the next draft -- provided Carson Wentz continues to play a high percentage of Colts snaps -- and is hoping to have a nucleus around those rookies by the time next season begins, and that's likely to include some of the veterans who have become so attractive to contending teams. Cox is one of the better defensive linemen in franchise history and the kind of inquiries that have come in thus far aren't close to facilitating a trade for him. He is not a player the Eagles are marketing or hopeful of moving. Dillard, a first-round pick in 2019, needed time to develop as a tackle but has improved this season; he continues to draw outside interest. The Eagles do have a core of other players with expiring contracts that includes defensive linemen Derek Barnett and Ryan Kerrigan, center Jason Kelce and safety Rodney McLeod. At this point is more likely they would deal a pending free agent over someone with term remaining on their deal, with Roseman's reputation as a dealmaker adding to the inquiries the team is receiving. |

Dillard is intriguing, We dont really have answers at Tackle or depth there either. Barnett and Kerigan would be welcome additions and immediate help. Mcleod if it gets Sorenson off the field is interesting as well. With the close ties Reid and Veach have with Philly, this seems the place to go shopping! Fletcher doesnt seem possible or probable and as cool as it would be to have the Kelce brothers playing for the Chiefs it isnt a need for us. |

Eagles already turned his base into bonus. Cox will only cost 2 million a year for the next 3 years. Dillard costs 3 million this year, 4 million next year. This is only about how much the Eagles want back in trade. 2nd/3rd round draft pick for Cox Unknown for Dillard |

We could easily free up enough to afford both of these guys.
Just give Tyreek Hill a new contract. We are going to have to do it this coming offseason anyway. Hill has 11m in roster bonus this year and 15m in roster bonus next year. I would think that Hill has proven himself as reliable now. |

I'd like to keep developing our young O Line but and I was looking more to a rebuild with our draft picks but I'd give a third for Fletcher Cox and hope we could get a couple years out of him. With him and Ingram added to the D I think we'd be much better and our young LBs would have room to make plays.
If the S would be an upgrade or Sorensen I'd be interested in him as well.

Dillard would have fit this scheme so well. Shame, we could have got him cheap albeit he's a project
