All of a sudden the NFC doesn’t look so tough

Kyler Murray hurt again.

The Bucs just lost to one of the worst teams in the NFL.

The Rams have been struggling for 2 games now.

The AFC being wide open has been discussed, but i think the whole damn thing is too.

I'm not "scared" of any teams but there is nothing you can point to at this juncture and claim the Chiefs are better than the Titans. It doesnt mean the Chiefs cant beat them either. You did the same thing with the Bucs last year and the Patriots in 2018 and we saw how that went.
Tennessee is limited without Queen Henry.

Most of their offense vs the Rams were points or short fields off turnovers.

And they probably don’t beat the Saints without the help of bad officiating and a shitty Saints kicker.

Tannehill was outplayed by Trevor Semen in that game.

They have no prospects for long term success without Henry.

Come playoff time, the usual suspects will be in the mix, Bucs and Packers upfront, Rams, Arizona will follow..

Tennessee is a good, well coached team no doubt. The simple truth is that their success is only sustainable for so long without Henry. Had the NO kicker not missed two XPs then they quite possibly beat Tenn. Eventually luck like that catches up to a team.

The Titans a are clone of Martys Chiefs of the 90s. Just like Martya teams. They aren't going anywhere.

Classic paper tigers.

In your scenario, do you think the refs will all of a sudden stop carrying Brady in the SB? I don't, which is why I hope he doesn't get there.

Again none of this means the Chiefs cant get back to another super bowl but the gymnastics you guys play is just odd. You also weren't doing this when we were struggling.
The other two games mattered as much as past records do when two coaches face each other. Which is what you brought up.

I don't really think Reid's 1-3 record or whatever the **** it is against Vrabel matters all that much when determining how a Chiefs playoff team would do against a Henry-less Tits team.

If we make it to the Super Bowl again, which I think we have as good a shot as anybody in the AFC this year, we're going to face the Bucs again.

The Rams spook me some, but the one team we simply don't have a mental advantage on is the Bucs. They've basically got a Top 3 head coach under center.

That's why the Raiders game was a bit more satisfying to me than it was others, I think. I think it was satisfying for most people on this board and across the fandom because "they look like the Chiefs again" and it was a relief they weren't horrible anymore.

But the Chiefs chewed up a well coached defense playing that two-deep that has vexed us since the Super Bowl. And if the Chiefs can chew up that D, the NFL will be scrambling for options going forward, including the Bucs.

We still have a few too many weaknesses, I fear, against the Bucs. Their coverage of Kelce was probably the best I've ever seen, and they still have Sean Murphy-Bunting erasing our slot options. Our OL is better and will help to protect Mahomes, but we're still going to have trouble running on them.

Meanwhile, we're going to have a better passrush if everyone stays healthy to put some heat on Brady, but I still worry about our corners against their league-best WR corps with the GOAT throwing the ball.

Anyway, I still don't know if I'd give the Chiefs the leg up in a rematch, but I like their odds against most anyone else.

I think this is the year the Packers finally break through and get back to the SB. I can’t lie their defense looked ****ing good against us. Their backers are fast and good tacklers. Pass rush is good, secondary has talent.

Their offense is finally better with Cobb being a decent 2nd option for them. It’s really helped open things up. Their coach is very good too. Most wins for a coach in his first 30 games.

Rams are the classic overhyped top heavy team, Cardinals are inexperienced and overrated IMO and the Bucs won’t get lucky again.

I really hope we finally see a Rodgers/Mahomes matchup
