Hyperbole. Maxxx should have been a matchup nightmare. He wasn't. Parsons should be a challenge, at best. Won't be surprised if we wake up Monday and Parsons had little to no effect on the game.

I would do a bunch of 2 TE sets (Nick Jacobs showed Dallas struggling with those) on early downs and then go empty.

Parsons is in no mans land on those plays and quick passes negate any pass rush they can muster.

I took off 1/2 day tomorrow to watch this game.

Most excited I've been this season.

Most complete team KC will have played since TEN a month ago. They have a legit offense/defense, coaches and are mostly healthy. Helps that both teams need this win desperately. This game, unlike the last three, will give us a better idea whether the Chiefs are really a playoff team with SB aspirations.

I am, thanks buddy. Just ridiculously busy. literally only watched two games from start to finish this year, and may not get to watch one until after the holidays.

I'm not disagreeing with you but this game really means nothing to us as far as making the playoffs being our last nfc game. It is like you said a good test to see if we actually still have sb aspirations.

The Cowboy excuse makers will be out in full force next week like they were after the Denver loss. Chiefs will get no credit for the win.

We're going to destroy them! Our OL vs their DL isn't even fair. Dak will collapse like a house of cards in Arrowhead. Our defense will put the league on notice. This isn't a one pony show, Chiefs are a complete team. The Cowboys are frauds that play a soft schedule.

I think they win out after this week so for seeding purposes it could mean alot. We will win no tiebreaker with the top afc teams. They all need 5 losses. The topseed is all that matters other than winning the division

I don't think KC can suffer another loss realistically.

However, my post was about how this game would/should be a very good gauge as to the actual efficiency of our team as a whole, not about our standing in the AFC or the race to the playoffs. It's the best measuring stick game we'll have down the stretch.

Win, and KC probably is a legit contender in the playoffs. Lose convincingly, a la the TEN debacle, and the Chiefs are probably a one-and-done team. Capisce?

If Clyde is EVER going to truly shine, its going to be in that capacity

Now that Mahomes seems to have accepted the reality of needing to check down much more often, maybe we'll finally see some progress out of CEH

This is what I’m thinking too, although idk how much he’ll contribute this week. Been out a while, and may not be included much in the gameplan. But I’ve always wondered why we don’t use him more in the screen game, and short passing. It’s what I always thought was why we drafted him, he was deadly at it in college. The limited screens I’ve seen go to him have been pretty positive if I’m remembering correctly. And now our OL is playing much more fluid and nasty he should have lots of opportunities in that area with the 2 high looks we get. I think the second half of the season is gonna a fun ride!!
