had no idea why Merv was brought back. He was a parody of the original sequel. All it did for me was remind me how good the characters were in the matrix and how this iteration completely missed out on an opportunity to make the matrix more frightening, controlling etc.

Oh, I forgot about the Merovingian. I did actually chuckle a bit when they brought him in so I’ll give them that..
They really should have brought back Monica Bellucci though. She is so ****ing fine.
