Let's talk about the Bengals [and Hamburger Helper]

This one is huge as far as the #1 seed goes.

Let's talk about it.

Like I said, Cincy is very capable of great things on the high end and some pretty lousy stuff on the low end. That Bears game featured an unfathomable 3 straight INT's on 3 pass attempts. One of the more bizarre things you could ever see in football.
The teams they played against were better than them that day, which included a no name QB putting up a historic performance in his first career start.

I don’t think the Bengals are a great team-they are an above average team that has a lot of variance in their performance due to youth and an average HC that is masked by a QB that is probably going to be really, really good.

They won’t go far in the POs, but it wouldn’t shock me to see them beat a good team at full strength at home in Cincinnati.

Any thing can happen on a given a Sunday. The Texans have wins over the Chargers and Titans(in Nashville). Shit happens.

Exactly. Any Given Sunday has been a big thing this year. It would not be surprising if Cincy beats KC. I’m hoping the Any Given Sunday loss happens again to the Titans. Dolphins or Texans are both dangerous enough to do it.

It's hard to believe but the bungholes have a winning record against us. Few teams in the league do. Shocking.

Majority of the games were in the late 70s and 80s when the Chiefs were dog shit. Only played them once in the 90s.

Good win for them...conference wins are critical if you want to be a contender.

B'More played KC with Ben Niemann, Dan Sorenson starting, Chris Jones at DE, and Reed + Nnadi at DT. That defensive lineup pretty much sucked. On top of that KC's O was in full "let's hand the ball to the opposing team" mode. That combination = two bad/self-inflicted losses: Ravens and Chargers. KC had both games won, except they kept giving the ball back to their opposition. Not a winning formula. In the Buffalo and Tennessee losses, they just got their asses whipped. The D still sucked and the offense was struggling with Tampa-2.

Defense changed radically with four moves: Bolton for Niemann, Thornhill for Sorenson, Ingram for CJ at DE, CJ at DT w/ Reed & Nnadi rotating opposite him. The improvement was obvious: went from surrendering 30ppg to 16ppg and then gelled to 12ppg. KC's defensive turnaround has been stellar; going from one of the worst units in the league weeks 1-5 to one of the best thereafter.

KC's offense continued to struggle with Tampa-2 until the 4th quarter of the second matchup with LA. Something clicked, and they have been carving up the deep safety look since. Combined with the radically improved D, this is a dangerous KC squad. Most would wager unbeatable when they are on their game.

Anyone who has watched the Chiefs this season knows all of the above is true. Those who don't watch the games and go by aggregated season stats spew hot takes and are surprised when their team gets slaughtered (see: dumbshit talking heads on sports talk shows, and twitter dipshits...redundant).

I would LOVE a matchup with the Ravens now. I would want them 100% healthy as well, so there would be no excuses. We will likely get Buffalo, TN, and/or NE in the playoffs. I am looking forward to it

Didn't they also beat an undefeated KC team in the early 2000's?
