Nah, I’d prefer giving the job to Kafka.

I agree. We know what and who Nagy is.
We might have a future HC in Kafka. I want to see what he’s got as OC.

The Bears didn't break him, they exposed him.

No.
He refused to play to Fields strengths, just as he did with Trubisky. |

He wasn't QUITE ready for the big chair when he got it, and he walked into a shit show in Chicago with Trubisky and Pace. Let him pad his resume here if EB moves on, I'd be fine with it.

Sideway passes is the one opportunity for him to work with Mahomes on.

Kafka deserves it. But Nagy is a terrific coordinator if you pair him up with an Andy Reid like coach. If he doesn’t land something I would LOVE for him to come back as a special assistant like Childress was a few years ago. That helped Reid innovate a wildly creative offense. May be time to dust off some of that creative spark?

I'm not against Nagy coming back, but Kafka has probably earned his shot by now. |

Not in a million years. I watched part of a game earlier this season. His decision-making in the second half, when his team was still very much in the game with a real chance to pull off an upset, was absolutely the worst set of decisions I've ever seen in a professional game of any kind.
I once defended Nagy in a thread a year or two ago, but I'm out. I have no idea what's wrong with him, but he literally makes decisions to find new, humiliating, and absurd ways to lose. No, just no thank you.

If EB finally gets a HC job and I think this is the year, I bet he takes Nagy with him which would actually be a decent pairing. |
