This is one of those matchups where KC should just decline any type of city to city wager between civic leaders.

Here's a plate of diarrhea spaghetti and a catalytic converter for your burnt ends.

This is how Vegas works the general betting public during the week...both writers from CBS & NFL.com pick the Bengals to beat Mahomes at home...Bengals scored 19 points last week and one TD. They benefited from three turnovers...

Like clockwork...I mean who wouldn't take Cincinnati and 7 points when all the pundits are picking them...right? Never mind that Mahomes has never trailed at the end of regulation in the play-offs.

The Chiefs weren't able to take advantage of that much in the first game but it's going to be that much harder for line calls when the crowd is deafeningly loud.
Every little nanosecond counts.

The crowd noise will disrupt the timing of an OL that already has its struggles. Not to mention communicate protections.
It will make it harder for burrow, who still holds on to the ball too long, to communicate changes
It will make it harder to get creative on the snap count

A not great OL and an immobile qb who holds onto the ball too long are not a great combo for what will undoubtedly be by a mile the most difficult crowd he’s ever had to work with in the nfl.

They did okay vs Henry who had 3.1 YPC but came off major surgery with a ****ing steel plate in his foot

Darrell Williams and Derrick Gore combined for 17 carries, 125 yards and over 7 YPC last time we played.

And they also lost Ogunjobi which is huge. Man…we’re dropping 50 on these guys easy if we need to
Excellent point. It really hurt us in the second half once they start playing the typical deep coverage knowing we couldn’t exploit it. That McKinnon check down has been lethal as all hell.

Based off our defense, I think they will score at least one.

Yeah, I don't think we hold them to no touchdowns but the fact that only one of those QB's managed even 1 shows you how important protection is this deep into the playoffs. In other words, it's not completely meaningless as the Bengals' two previous outings show. It's going to be an issue for them.

Oh no doubts. That stuff is cumulative. Their offense wasn't that explosive in either game. The only reason why we are hosting the AFCCG is because Tannehill is hot trash. If we can get to him early, perhaps he gets a case of the yips.

Burrow doesn’t seem get the yips. Dude seems to be mature beyond his years from the short amount of time he’s played. The Chiefs D line must play well in this one. If they don’t it’ll be another long day for the defense.

I don't understand this at all.

The DL played very well the last time we met up with Cincy. The problem was the style of D we played against them in the secondary, and our inability to break up at least 1 of the MANY 50-50 balls that Burrows threw to Chase. Don't blitz on 3rd and forever and get a Ref Crew that isn't DPI happy and that game isn't even in question, IMO.

Again, this is NOT a DL issue.

Meh. Our defense hasn't been all that good lately outside of getting to play Roethlisberger. Even Denver smacked them around a bit. Onus is on the offense this game moreso than usual because Burrow is going to get his, especially with Chase and co.

You get close to Burrow you sack him. He's the WORST in the league with taking sacks. It's unreal. I can't see him continuing as a premier quarterback in the NFL if he keeps playing like that. So he may not get his.
