Can the Chiefs get hard again after their marathon F**K session last weekend? Is there concern for a downturn in performance after such an epic and likely emotionally draining game against Buffalo?


Can the Bengals keep offensive pace with #15, #87, #10, and whomever plays the Wildcard on Sunday (#1 /#25/ #17 / #13)?


Will the Chiefs DBs slow down Chase?


Will the Chiefs DL take advantage of a scrub Cincinnati OL?


The Chiefs offense proved to be the heroes last weekend, but the Defense is likely going to have to make plays and step up against the Bengals, forcing an important stop or two. Has Spagnuolo learned from mistakes made during Week#17?



These are my concerns. I think the Bengals are going to be a damn tough out, and this game may have more of a Broncos Week 18 feel to it.



*ETA: Even as a pessimist (I am never cocky or completely confident on gameday--ever), I feel the Chiefs should by all accounts win on Sunday and would only lose through bad coaching decisions, or some weird regression of player performance similar to earlier this season.

Actually, it's fair to consider that a lot of people who are fans of teams who have never won a Super Bowl or for whom it's just been so long (the Jets) are rooting against the plucky teams like Cincinnati to get their first one.

I know a bunch of Vikings fans for whom last year rooted for the Chiefs because they didn't want to see an historically trashy franchise like the Bucs get TWO on them before they even got one.

I'll bet it's the same thing this year. "The Brown family-owned Bengals? THOSE guys are going to get a goddamn Super Bowl before WE do?! GO CHIEFS!"

Maybe. With this OL and our QBs arm, I don’t think the weather affects us as much as it does other teams.

For instance, dome teams also historically struggle in the weather. That 2019 game against the Colts was a good example. It looked like the Colts were playing in roller blades.

We don’t play one this year, but you never know about future seasons.
