Last week it was the Diggs picture and McDermott psyching his team up for this one particular matchup all season.

This week it's "Bengals so confident!! Not afraid of this Chiefs team! Man Joe Burrow is so cool and confident I just can't pick against him when I see determination like that in his eyes!"

I'm getting pretty tired of playing these plucky young upstart teams with NOTHING TO LOSE!!!11 and having to listen to their bullshit.

I really hope we get to see the Patriots or Titans or a team like that in next year's playoffs just so we don't have to listen to bullshit about determination and confidence and shit that the Chiefs SUUUUURELY don't have at all!

It's going to happen every year. The reality is NFL has razor thin margin for error, so anything is possible. That opens the door for the media to do whatever they want in terms of hyping the game.

I don’t doubt that his public persona is all schtick. But I hadn’t heard from him in years, I never see people quote him here or in social media. He seems to be a guy who was a pioneer 30 years ago but who’s been eclipsed by a bunch of other talking heads.
