There have been a lot of great QB's in history that have a singular SB. It's very possible he has a Big Ben like run where he never has a losing season. But winning SB's is much harder than I think a lot of people are/were willing to admit.

Healthy roster, home AFCCG, against a team with a terrible OL and average injured defense. Can’t ask for more than that, yet we couldn’t cash in for whatever reason.

Injuries will kill a few seasons for us. Happens to every team.

We’ll miss on some draft picks. We’ll sign some bad contracts. Just like every other team.

Nothing is guaranteed and it really sucks to be up 18 at home and shit the bed like this.

I’m sure Mahomes will get 1 or 2 more. Maybe more than that. Just really sucks to not get there given such a golden opportunity.

Yep, and a Rams team with an inconsistent offense. This was the year to get that second. 21-3 at home, you just can't. Really hard to comprehend what happened to the entire offense after that end of half play.

Who knows? Probably can't look at this season as one of our best chances until the waning part of Pat's career. We don't know how the next 12-15 years will play out. But it certainly would've been nice to get one this year, of course.

But, them's the breaks in the NFL. Part of what makes it so great is the one and doneness of the post season. One bad half, and boom, you're out. Has worked in our favor in the past, went against us this time. We'll see what the future holds.
