And yet, despite that, it's still easily the best start of a career in NFL history for a QB.

Projecting somebody out as a GOAT is a fool's errand anyway. The guy that everyone says is the GOAT right now was a game managing joke four years into the start of his career.

Brady had already won 3 Super Bowls 4 years into being a starter. Might be an inconvenient truth for your narrative but it's the truth nevertheless.

Yeah it’s also pretty easy to say his numbers weren’t as good because of the era of those early wins given what he proceeded to become later.

Brady had the good fortune of playing on one of the best defensive teams in NFL history for that period where he had to do little more to win than be Alex Smith. Context matters.

Brady’s passer rating for a season never got above 93 until he got Randy Moss.

No way man. Brady had 3 rings in 4 years. Mahomes’ goal at this point needs to be consistent performance on a play-by-play basis. Become the most consistent player he can be. Perhaps it will lead to another ring at some point, but a lot depends on the front office.

Last I checked, winning championships was a team award. I know everybody loves building the mythology of Brady these days, but he was nothing 4 years into his career and nobody was taking him seriously as any kind of all-time great.

I remember plenty of media hype about the fact he had 3 rings at such a young age. And yes he benefited a huge amount from the defense/Belichick. But he got the 3 rings at a very young age and continued to build on it.

The only year of those three seasons he even received a MVP vote was 2003. He was very much not considered to be the reason for those teams' success (and rightfully so because he wasn't).

The lack of the Chiefs running the ball more in the second half,and Mahomes not running for a first down like he sometimes does,instead just running backwards,i mean,run for for 3 or 4 yards.Also wasnt that Jones that had Burrow in a bear hug at least once,how the hell is that not a sack,just hold on to him,he shouldnt be able to get out of that.
