I think EB's baggage away from football might be a problem, especially if other candidates don't have any problems like that. This baggage in particular seems tough for him to overcome:

I see this brought up all the time and I just don't see how this could really be affecting him now like you think.

I mean, Matt Patricia is an accused rapist and he got a job. And the cheating bellichick tree has always been in demand. I still think the bigger problem is around coaching tree incest vs racism, which is ironic for Flores. That being said, wouldn’t shock me if he had proof of subtle racism that would never stand up on their own but add just a little more juice to his other accusations which are explosive.
