Umm what?

How about throw the ball to an open Hardman on 2nd & goal, or an open Kelce on 3rd & goal?

The end of the half was the end of the game for some reason. Missed FG opportunity, fall apart

Yes. Same exact thing. The individual team was throwing games to get a higher draft pick to try and have an advantage.

Where does this prove that the "NFL" is commanding the teams do this? I'm not saying it's impossible. I'm saying you don't have the proof to your claims that games are rigged from the top down.

They allowed us to play in 2 and ALLOWED us to win 1 (by not calling the hold on WASP)

Great.

His lawsuit is really a nice bit of fiction and written with quotes of Dr King and even how Kap was allegedly discriminated against. It is 99% written for sensationalism.

It was nice even how they tied the firing into racism, fired for refusing to lose and break NFL rules but racist in that the Dolphins portrayed him as a angry black man a racial stereotype in why he was fired.

The 1 % really comes down to whether a person believes that if 70% of the NFL players are black that the same % of coaches need to be as well or whether the % should be more along the lines of the population or those that played college or follow football intently.

Looks like a strongarm tactic to get the NFL to concede to more drastic measures of promoting a black owner (Broncos are for sale) putting in place a black committee for openings that will have a say in hiring. Sure the woke NFL is willing to woke concede to some... should be interesting.

WHY DOES IT SUPRISE YOU THAT TEAMS ARE TRYING TO DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO LOSE GAMES?

It is directly tied to their draft pick capital.

OF COURSE - they are going to try to lose games. When the Chiefs were eliminated from the playoffs in prior years I would get pissed at any game they won because it meant we dropped one more spot down in the draft, and one more spot less likely to draft a franchise QB.

If EB isn’t getting hired bc of optics due to his past, then other white coaches shouldn’t be hired in similar situations.

Especially in todays political climate

There will never be "proof" that NFL does any of that.

There's no "proof" that the NFL fixed Jon Gruden's only SB win...but they did

Players on both sides, including the game MVP and a Hall of Famer, have outlined exactly how that game was not decided on the field of play.

Now, did the NFL instruct Bill Callahan and Jon Gruden on exactly how to collude and make that happen?

You tell me.

You do your own research.

I guarantee that they didn't do it on their own, like, of their own volition.

For calling a play with a route that isn't in the end zone?

****, do we KNOW that's actually what happened, or is that the story they went with after the fact?

Less than half of coaches hired since 2020 came from qb coaching. There has been just as much a trend toward power running and defense. It’s why guys like Arthur smith and Campbell were hired. We’ve seen plenty of defensive guys, special teams and TEs background coaches move up the ranks. Black coaches who are well represented in these areas are not getting nearly as many opportunities either.

Again, we’re not talking about 50/50 representation. We’re talking 1/32 on a predominantly black demographic league. You think that’s entirely explained a way by white qbs? I get that the reason behind this is complex and not as sinister as some make it to be. But how can anyone dispute that something feels very off about that?

I’ve already explained that there are reasons beyond his past that he hasn’t been hired. I’m not repeating myself further.

Again, if it’s simply racism, why didn’t Poles take him to Chicago with him? Why didn’t he get an interview with Kwesi and the Vikings?

That is the extreme end. The more reasonable end is recognizing that 1/32 is stunningly low given the demographics.
