As I live in Vancouver...and we are hosting the world..let me say good luck to all the American athletes....I'll be cheering for Americans' Vonn and that red-headed snowboard dude...but Hockey...gotta be Canada. Enjoy!

Yeah, it's not like this was some kind of hidden secret. They certainly aren't the first country hosting the Olympics to manufacture snow for competitions either. I seem to remember Sochi having pretty high temperatures 8 years ago.

Guess last night was the first I've really tuned in & haven't really kept up on any of the news, medal counts, etc.

But yeah, if Gu wants to play for China then by all means, go ahead. And go ahead and stay there, and **** your education at Stanford.

Actually it reminds me of a lot of guys that used to play on the National US Men's soccer team. We had several guys that were totally German, but had a single US parent (usually from military duty) so they had eligibility to play for the US. They chose not to play for Germany because of the immense amount of talent there, but they could easily make the team here. I'm thinking of Jermaine Jones, but the same thing applied to Earnie Stewart, Aaron Johannsson, Fabian Johnson, Julian Green, Timothy Chandler, Tom Dooley, and more.

The difference there is those guys were good. But not good enough to make the German national team. She chose to represent China even though she gained everything from the US. I can’t tell if you’re calling me out or not, but yeah I think it’s ****ed up.
