Have you ever went to Jail?

I read in a thread that Brock a CP member went to jail for check fraud.

So does anyone else have a story?

So who here has been in jail and for what?

Let’s see what time CP has spent in the slammer.

Another time time I got arrested and had to spend the weekend in was while I was stationed at Fort Sill, OK. This girl and I was drinking and spending the night at a lake. It wasn’t a campground, it was a boat launch at Potawatomi Twins Reservoir if I remember correctly.

A Cache, OK PO, showed up and told us to leave. I told him I didn’t have the keys to the vehicle. He said okay we could stay, But the car when it was backed in to be parked the rear wheels were allegedly on the grass. He said if we moved it off the grass we could stay. I told him I was in condition to drive. He said tell him where the keys were he would move it off the grass or he was going to call a wrecker and have it towed.

I told him the keys were on top of the passenger side rear wheel. Thinking I couldn’t get in trouble because I didn’t have the keys in my physical possession. Wrong got arrested for BAC, the car go towed and off to jailI went for the weekend.

Got a lawyer, all charges dropped for good cause shown.
Good causes consisted of the police officers timesheets of being a MP at Fort Sill during the day and a police officer for the city of Cache. He had been doing 12 hour shifts during the day for Fort Sill and 12 hour shifts at nite for the city of Cache for several days and nights in a row. He shouldn’t of even been driving. Plus he was 1 mile out of his jurisdiction and had no business bothering the fine citizen at the reservoir in his ‘81 Z-28 with some whore from downtown.

Once. Got jerked off by an undercover cop outside the HyVee Gate. Really weird shit. The handcuffs were fuzzy and the jail was his house. Wasn’t wearing a badge. Made me pay him after. Cash only.

Yes. Got a minor in possession of alcohol in Marysville, MO in 2006. Like two weeks before my birthday. I wasn't even carrying it but cops blamed me for it after my buddy ditched it in a dumpster lol. Ended up having to go to some alcohol class a few weeks later so just drank again then since I didnt even go to Northwest Missouri State.

Same here. The stupid shit I pulled back then could've really ended poorly for me. Included in that stupid shit was several run ins with the law that I somehow was always able to talk my way out of.

That's no shit. In grad school I had a buddy that would go to the bar and shoot pool and shit with us but doesn't drink. I was a total butt nugget and insisted on driving home. He'd follow me in his pickup. After awhile I asked why he didn't just ride with me.

His comment was that if red lights came on he'd just peel out off the road into someones lawn and play dumb. I was obviously going to pay that ticket, but it was going to be cheaper than a DUI.

Never saw the red lights (or accidents), thank goodness. But damn he's a good friend.

About 150 of us got arrested at a peace rally back in the early 70s. It was on the Statehouse steps in Topeka. The charge -- disturbing the peace. Anyway, the Capitol Police didn't have enough room to house us all, so they started walking us all over to the Shawnee County Courthouse. By the time we got there, a lawyer had been called. Since we were on the grounds and arrested before 10 PM and there was no mayhem (It was a silent vigil), the lawyer argued that we weren't disturbing anything at all. Arrests were thrown out, everybody went to a local bar and we had a good laugh. Years later I did find out that many of our names were given to the FBI. BTW, the lawyer--Fred Phelps, Sr.

VARSITY
Been in jail 6 times overnight. 3 times in the USA for DWI. 3 times for fighting. Once in Springfield. Once in New Orleans. 1 time in Britain for a soccer brawl in a bar. Which was BS since I don’t know shit about soccer. I changed around 25 years old. Quit brawling and drinking before I got in serious trouble.

i mean, are we talking got arrested on a bullshit charge, bonded out and pled out to a fine...or even had it dropped?

I don't even count those. I got into so many fisticuffs in the 90s that aren't even on the books...

there's some drug charges, when I was real young. 2004 was spent in and out of county jails/rehabs/Fulton/St Joe. I got pulled in on a suspended license, once I didn't know it was suspended, once I had extenuating circumstances.

Ah, there's the recent shit that went down, I pled the one down to disturbing the peace (actually spent the night in jail for that one, ****ing bullshit) and then the one pending that I could plea, as the offer is on the table...but I didn't do a ****ing thing, and that's why the offer is on the table...but I want it dismissed completely. **** their deal, a trial will be expensive, long, and I'm not over confident in saying I will win. I crushed her in the divorce and crushed her in Cass County. They wouldn't put that deal on the table if they didn't already know it's a bunch of bullshit.

So, what was the question? have I been to jail? A couple times, but mostly I just pay a lot of money to stay out of jail. I prefer my own bed.

So...did a bobbie escort you to the station? Did he pull his bat...or ask you nicely to accompany him?

The British are so civilized.
