Ask your sources what "guaranteed" is broken down. What's signing bonus, what's fully guaranteed salary, what are roster bonuses that guarantee and when, etc. What portion of his 2021 roster bonus is being restructured, if at all, and to what?

If they know the details, they should surely know these things. Inquiring minds want to know because it would be a highly unusual contract to fully guarantee 70/85 million at signing.
