I have no idea how he could have hit me. It was at least 300 feet of straight path where he would've seen me if he'd been looking.

He gave me a phone number and said he'd take care of me, and maybe he will. But I haven't tried it to see if it's an actual number, and there were no witnesses around. There may be cameras, though, if it comes to that. But he left me bleeding on sidewalk and I had to go find help on my own, so I'm not optimistic.
