Can anyone explain why Sydney Jones signed for asswipe money?

Like seriously - how do we not beat that deal? Jones isn't the lockdown guy he looked like he could be before he wrecked his knee, but he's built himself back into a really solid player who could thrive in this system.

If we weren't going to retain Ward, how the hell were we not in on Jones?

Probably injury history.

I don’t know though. I’m still holding out hope for Gladney at this point.
