So I'm seeing a lot of Reid deep. Is he replacing Money Badger or Thornhill? We moving Thornhill?

Or is this yet to be determined?...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Don’t look at it as a FS/SS thing. They’re interchangeable now with Thornhill and Reid being able to play both.

Once they put Dan back there I couldn't look at it as a FS thing...

I think its a flexibility thing. Last year teams knew dan shouldnt be deep, and if he was throw at him. This year you wont have that luxury. Thornhill and Reid can rotate and make it harder to determine whos going where.

The more people cry on Facebook the more I want to get rid of HB

No other team is jumping to snatch him well maybe the Saints but he ain't going do anything there but eat gumbo. I think that is his native area anyways and Saints are under major rebuild need coach and quarterback. He can make money because they won't be spending much else on FA.

We're already rid of HB, he's a free agent and we didn't offer him a contract.

People need to stop worrying about it, he's gone.

Interesting that the one year(2018) Reid and Mathieu played together in Houston, they had almost identical production. Only difference is Reid had more ints vs Mathieu having more sacks.

Makes sense given Reid was a FS and Badger an in-the-box SS. The big thing here is Mathieu was a 6th-year veteran while Reid was just a rookie.

PFF graded Mathieu 78.1 overall and Reid 75.2 that year. Reid followed that up with a 76.2 overall grade in 2019 after Mathieu signed with KC.

Kid has some untapped potential for sure!

He's also bigger and faster than HB.

What I can’t figure out is, how can armani watts and Dorian odaniel be worse than some of our rotations. And if these guys can’t beat out a Sorensen then what purpose do they even serve?

His speed pops on screen. The secondary got more athletic with this signing.
