This is an easy guy to fall in love with due to his size, speed, and how he just looks the part. The problem is when they go to play football he isn't very good. If you can't get more than a measly 600 yds with AARON ****ING RODGERS that is a huge redflag. We better not be done.

Okay so worth noting:

Similar to Justin Reid's contract, it is possible that we baked in some "unlikely to hit" incentives that are actually likely to hit, because he only played 11 games last year. This means those incentives, if hit, would count against next year's cap instead of this years.

Will be interesting to see the deal structure.

There was a definite disconnect between him and Rodgers, that's for sure. Rodgers did not trust him at all.

Sometimes a fresh start can make the difference. The skills are certainly there, he's a physical freak. I just feel like right now we need a finished product and he is far from that.

Really liked this idea w/ him as an X receiver (as established in my Thesis: 'How to Beat the Cover 2 With Speed' -- published while bored and avoiding work).

So go get Calvin Austin as a similar style of player to Tyreek as a multi-purpose, inside/outside sort of Z.

Just part of the puzzle. Chiefs are working on putting a variety of B level receiving options out there rather than a couple As and some scraps. It's not the worst plan.

When you have a great QB, let him try to elevate multiple options. Maybe it backfires biggly but it could make this offense more dangerous than ever.
