He’s not getting close to our pick or trade up range.

Alot of outlets are mocking him in the top 10-12 picks. He won't fall.

I presume you're in favor of giving 29, 30 and next year's 2nd to move up and draft him?

And this.
He's been the consensus top WR from everything I've seen. Not sure who's not talking about the guy.

Two guys on Sirius NFL, one guy had him 1 and the other had him 4. Either way, not going to be available to us.

GW lite seems to be moving up boards, too. Calvin Austin may end up going early second.

Seems likely that WR will get pushed up across the board. So all the more reason to just attack the shit out of the DL this draft. With JJSS, MVS, Hardman and Kelce we have some options to throw to. And if WRs go insane we can REALLY build up the rest of this team. Then next year when all these teams have burned draft capital on WRs in the first and 2nd rounds so may be a little more reluctant to go back to that well, we'll have a couple spare picks again and can probably do some pretty nice damage. In the interim, go find a low-cost flyer like Reagor on the trade market. Someone who's fallen out of favor like the Ogbah/Hughes deals.

That’s really interesting and true. Has positional value changed? I used to think that qb, LT or DE, & CB were the most important positions or considered “positional value” but could WR be 2nd highest paid position now? 2nd highest positional value behind only qb based on contracts? And if so, should that impact how we draft?

It’s possible that a lot more WRs go high in this draft than they have in the past because of these stupid contracts being given out.
It’s not just me saying it saying it…even Daniel Jerimiahs latest top 50 added Skyy Moore at the 4; spot after not having him make the cut in his previous top 50 lists. Bucky Brooks has us taking Skyy Moore at 29. Calvin Austin is extremely talented and is really fun to watch. Some team is going to fall in love with him and draft him sooner than most think. |

Skyy Moore is rocketing up boards because he's really ****ing good but came from Western Michigan, so 95% of these media guys never heard of him much less gave him a 1st round grade. I really don't think it has anything to do with too many other factors. But for one that rises, one will fall and I firmly believe Burks is going to be the one that does.
