0.97% of the brackets had UNC going to the finals, Obviously you guys were the best team all year and deserve the win. I am proud of my Tarheels, 1st year coach and gave you guys all you can handle. Congrats to all the KU fans here, would have liked to win it of course but the future is bright with Hubert Davis at the helm.
Savor your NC, they are rare because unlike this year, the best team does not always win.

I dont think KU was even close to being the best team throughout the entire year. They didnt start playing like this until the BigXII tourney, when you could actually see them play with intensity on both sides of the ball. It clicked and they got hot at the right time. If KU hadnt done so well in the conference tourney, they may not have even been a 1 seed.

I think Bill Self and the players should bang the drum at Arrowhead home opener.

The conference tournament only solidified KU as a #1 seed. They had been projected as a #1 seed for some time before the conference tournament.

They won a share of the league outright. They didn't just start playing well in the conference tournament.

KU had the most Q1 wins for the entire season. That doesn't happen if they only start playing at a high level a month ago.

Did Remy get healthy at the right time? Yes. But KU only lost 6 times the entire season, so it's not like they were stumbling and struggling before the conference tournament.

I can't feel too bad for you considering you'll probably be in 4 more of these games over the next 8 years.

I am excited for the UNC program and I would love for you to be right. I told everyone here more than once at halftime that the game wasn't over. I like Self, he seems to be a classy guy and must have gave a helluva halftime speech. Caleb Love will live and die by the sword, he usually gets separation to launch the 3's but Kansas did a great job keeping a hand in his face, never seen a team do that as consistently. Bacot was grabbing everything off the rim in the first half and went cold in the 2nd and Grizzly Adams went cold ... No way we could have won that with those circumstances. Gotta love ol Hubert Davis, I was thinking we would be suck city for the next 5 years and wondered if they made the right choice early in the season but I really like the fire in his belly and after this deep run into the tourney it should get him a few 5 star commitments.

Man congrats Kansas fans! That was an incredible game. Down by 15 at the half I had to watch - your team rung the 3 pointer bell numerous times! Good for you guys!

If I get a minute, I want to read the gameday thread... Had to be an epic meltdown in the first half, followed by accolades for everyone on the last few pages... Should be entertaining.

Congrats Jayhawks!

Coming from someone who mostly tries to tolerate GDTs, it's not that bad from what I read during breaks last night.

Outside of those who must really really want to be as reeruned as possible, I find it usually calms down the worse it gets... I think people basically give in to the fact the game could be over, instead of being emotionally invested in every little thing (thus, complaining about every little thing).

There was probably more complaining right around the time KU gave up the lead for the first time than when they went down 10+... I only remember a couple of real eye-rollers late in the first half and halftime ("there's a reason Roy left Kansas", from a KU fan).

Enjoy!
