Perrion Winfrey had 11 tfl and 5.5 sacks last year. Phidarian Mathis had 10.5 tfl and 9.0 sacks last year. Eyioma Uwazurike had 12.0 tfl and 9.0 sacks last year. Matthew Butler had 8.5 tfl and 5.0 sacks last year. Travis Jones had 7.5 tfl and 4.0 sacks last year. Hell, John Ridgeway, considered a NT only, had 39 tackles, 4.0 tfl, and 2 sacks.
I know stats aren't everything, but neither are measurables. This guy hasn't been a disruptive force nearly enough for me to say he's going to absolutely be one in the NFL. He could be, he could end up the next Dontari Poe that reaches his athletic potential and dominates.
Am I going to give it all up to go get him over an edge rusher that has produced? **** no.
