I’d be tempted to take a flyer on Kevin Austin on measureables alone but he’s just never been much of a football player. I liked West during the CP mock and had him near the top of my board starting in the 5th, I think.

Short answer is it’s the 7th round and I just rarely give a damn about anything that happens this round one way or the other. This round is unlikely to be any different. Looks like there are 3 guys still out there I won’t name because I do like them a little more than the rest of the slag, but it just doesn’t matter much.

It just makes me wonder if Veach has someone(s) in mind that he can fall back on, because it seems like that is the one area he is still thin.

Feel like a Robert Quinn trade would’ve happened by now if it were gonna.

There are still a couple good interior rushers in Green and Hicks so the lack of DT depth can be addressed really easily.

But near as I can tell all the DEs are strong side types that are essentially going to play the same style game as Clark or Karlaftis so…{shrug}

Just so many similar LBers.

This was just an awful year to be a 230ish lb linebacker with speed. They almost literally grew on trees in this draft.

I mean think about the DoD draft. He stood out athletically.

Wouldn’t happen in this draft at all. A pure Will type who doesn’t flash rushing the passer or demonstrate elite ball skills just won’t turn heads.

Rough year for JoJo. There are years he’s absolutely a 3rd/4th round pick.
