You can't blame current players for trying to win. Many of them won't be there next season. What do they care who the Raiders draft?

To properly tank, you need ownership to step in and promise a coach he has immunity if he just plays some crappy backup QB and runs a vanilla game plan. But that still can backfire on you with players who will return.

The Raiders are in a better place than other sorry teams just because they play in Vegas and free agents will want to move there.

The easy fix is benching AOC due to injury and playing Ridder or Bradley.

The Giants got it right. Cut your starter and roll with the dreadful backups. IR starters and evaluate practice squad players.

The Browns benched Winston for DTR.

Mark Davis is simply too much of a diehard fan to follow that strategy. He was clapping and celebrating in the locker room.

AOC is the backup.

Problem this year is AP couldn't get the signal caller he wanted and then got saddled with an OC who was just not good. Then he chose a journey man backup instead of sticking with the rookie QB that got him the job (AOC).

It won't matter. Their place in the AFCW is firmly cemented.

Both the Chargers and Broncos are further along in their rebuilds and KC isn't going anywhere. The Raiders will be a punching bag the next two years no matter what they do...

yeah moving from 6th to 8th is a huge dealbreaker

only would've cared about todays game if Carr was playing, would've been nice to beat him
