I know it's probably a routine surgery but still the last three months have been brutal hell for me. It all started when I thought it was a COPD flair up and having hyperventilation that sent me to ER in ambula nce 3 times. Usually after a week of steroids it clear up but I ended up on roids for a month. Then my primary doctor referred me to my pulminologist because each time my O2 stats were normal. However my chest was burning in flames. My pulminologist sent me to a specialist surgeon. I had a scope done down my throat and turned out I have a Hiatal hernia. That means I have bad acid reflux that I have been throwing up that caused all my chest pain. I've actually had it long time but now just horrific.

They started me on new stomach meds and after a week I started feeling much better. I was scheduled for second scope but that got postponed. Then when it was time for my second scope the told me be off my meds for a week prior. I did not like this idea but ok got to do it. After a day of no stomach meds I took a bite of something I thought was mild but I knew it was a **** up. That night I was violently throwing up. Next morning I felt like he'll and could barely pee at 1130 am I made a mental note. That day I spent trying hydrate myself only to violently puke that went all night I couldn't piss. Next day after 24 hours not passing I felt my dick was going explode. I went to ER explained what was going on. My biggest fear came to reality. Holy **** balls mother ****ing hell catheter I thought I was going pass out. They drained 700 CC. They also said from. Urine sample that I was potassium deficient from puking. My kidneys hoarded the potassium that quit making Urine. So I made sure I ate things I could and potassium supplement. Holy Hell

I got my second scope and swallow study done doctor said I have severe esophagus damage level D. Good news after surgery a lot of that can heal o er time and medication.

So here I am on to have surgery. I've missed much of work last 3 months used up 200 sick leave and 200 vac hours. So I got to get better and back to work.

I hope they don't sell a liver or kidney I could use that money.

It's not most simple hernia operation but I got a good surgeon. Sorry for graphics in description of what I've gone through I wish it on no one.

My chest hurts like **** they said it's probably from the gasses from anesthesia. What they do fill me up like the Hendinberg? I'm going go up in flames anytime.

Good news they took out the Foley this morning and it didn't hurt like it did last time **** bitch shutt.

I'm fine good morning to you all. No I didn't ****ing sleep well woke up every 30 minutes.

All my vitals are fine I'm fine except this pain in my chest lbut they did give some pain meds starting kick in I'm a little better now and in little bit try go for another walk hoping to start farting. Hays Ks is about same distance between my favorite team The Kansas City Chiefs on I70 and the Putrid Scum Denver Jackasses. I will fart in the Donkeys general direction.

Well those are some good drugs the pain is still there but I feel better.

Should be bout to go home but got to wait if course. Next 3 days clear liquid diet including Decaffeinated tea. What the hell is Decaffeinated mean? Then I graduate to a 10 day liquid diet not much better before I can eat mush diet eventually eat soft solids and one day I'll be able eat a steak.

I have 15 staples. I think one popped out. I'm not as hurting like I was this smorning. I get take home liquid hydrcodene Tylenol I'll be set with that.

Can't wait get home and watch free cable

**** my life. Talk about suck. It sucked for three days clear liquid diet but I wasn't hungry and had pretty good pain meds not to give much of a shit. BTW I've only had one small turd on Monday since my Surgery last Tuesday. That's ok the Doctor said don't expect much bowl movements for this liquid diet. So after my first three days I graduated on Saturday to a Full Liquid Diet (two weeks)

*The full liquid diet you will follow contains everything on the clear liquid diet, plus*

*Milk (no chocolate milk)

*Cream of wheat or cream of rice

*Strained creamed soups (except tomato or broccoli)

*Vanilla and strawberry ice cream

*Sherbet

*Yogurt (no strawberry or raspberry flavored yogurt, because of the seeds)

*Carnation Instant Breakfast (except chocolate flavored)

Then after my two weeks I get to start a 6 to 8 week Nissen soft diet that will still suck just not as bad.

Sunday my Hydrocodone lyquid Tylenol ran out and at 3am i woke up with pain and I called the doc in the morning and he wouldn't refill it because it was already my second refill and doesn't want me hooked on it so I suffered in pain yesterday but actually sucked it up and feel better today. Crushing meds is also gross and yogurt doesn't help much to cover up the taste. There is a lot of white powder packed in a lithium capsule but ugh can't make it work even with yogurt.

It sucks not having coffee. I crave a cheeseburger and spaghetti and lots of things I cannot have.

Pro tip dieting - Go on the Starvation Diet you will lose weight and save money!
