I don't know how to help you really. I once went into the prosecutors office. it was 20 years ago. But I was given a parking ticket for some bullshit about parking in front of a fire hydrant when this particular hydrant was all the way up in someone's yard behind a damn tree. I brought a pen and paper and drew him the picture of where the hydrant was and he said "how about I reduce the fine to $1?" and I said deal.
