If Frank can come in and give us high quality play, that changes everything…but until I see it on the field, this interview doesn’t change the fact that Frank Clark didn’t show up for any of the voluntary practices that guys getting paid to be team cornerstones have unwritten rules about attending. The fact BV incentivized his participation and FC atipl didn’t show up is bullshit. He wasn’t even on time to TC, FFS.

I like the commitment he made to getting healthy and he sounds a lot more clear minded, but it’s all background music till we start to see him play to his potential.

All but one of those sacks meant absolutely nothing. The only one that mattered only happened because of Chris Jones. Anyone could have made that play. Dude deserves absolutely no credit for anything.

He can't.

He is literal trash. You can see it on tape, he's slow, weak, and uncreative.

He probably didn't ever have that 'Ah-HA' moment until the end of last season. Thing is, he probably didn't have stomach issues EVERY time he drank or ate red meat. Maybe not even most of the time, at first when he was say in college.

But over the years it probably got worse, and then last Feb he finally decided to see someone about it.

Back to the presser:

I'm impressed with that interview by Frank. Just based on his attitude, humility, and forthrightness I'm cautiously optimistic about Clark's potential this season.

He's an inconsistent player. He can play when he has his body and mind right. Last year he started that wasn't the case. We'll see, sounds like he's in a better place.

Why are people so fecking bitter and stupid when it comes to Frank? The guy literally helped us win a championship and the next year in the playoffs he performed well again. Then last season came and he was ravaged by injuries and missed lots of camp, preseason games and three NFL games whilst not being able to practice fully for a while. So it was no surprise to see him have a bad year tbh.

Now he's taken a huge paycut to stay in KC and knows this is a huge year for him so he's made changes so why not support the guy? These morons who just spew hate all damn day are just pathetic smh.

Maybe Frank had an awakening. Life in the league is only a few years and he wants to be remembered. If he plays great and we win another he will be remembered fondly.

I've been as critical as anyone of Clark.

Well, maybe not as much as those of you who are clinically insane, but as much as any reasonable person should be.

Clark wasn't showing much 'want to' last season, and that never sits well with me.

If he's got his mind and body right, then he is capable of being a very good DE. I'm cautiously optimistic. He's taking responsibiity, and that's a good sign. We'll see.
