Again, not an indication that McDuffie will be bad. But we're also not getting the early "stud" indications like with Peters and Berry. You'd like to see that, ya know?

There's been a lot of praise for McDuffie lately. And he apparently had 4 PBUs in two days. Pretty good, no?

I agree on both, they were great...when they weren't reeruned (Peters) or injured (Berry). KC got 3 good seasons out of Peters, and 5 out of Berry. Considering the trajectory they were once on, I call both a disappointment.

I don't care what anyone on an online football message board that looks like it's been stripped out of 1998 thinks about me, the human. You don't know me, I don't know you, that's not why we're here. I don't care.

I enjoy football discussion, however. If someone says I'm a douche, go nuts. If someone says my take on the upcoming Chiefs season is doom and gloom but offers no meaningful insight beyond that, I'll take the time to tell them they're wrong.

Imagine going to TC with a notebook...jotting all the shit down. Writing up that long ass post...all with Chiefsplanet in mind....and then going, "I don't care what anyone thinks, CP looks like it was made in '98"

Writing up a long-ass post is not particularly challenging for me.

And like I said, I enjoy football discussion, I enjoy people's takes on my football takes, even when they're being staylor'd.

But no, I'll write a big manifesto, a couple people say I'm full of it, I get into it with them and somebody responds "don't be such a douche" -- that's the stuff I don't care about, have never cared about, and will never care about. It's a waste of my time.

And I feel I'm repeating myself on that score. So I'll refrain from any more posts in the thread unless they are football related. Feel free to have the last word.
