Seems to work pretty well to separate this from the game thread.

Agreed. That doesn't mean they'll do it.

If we're being honest, I wish we'd just switch to the I and stuff it down their stupid faces when they go light and drop everybody. Remember when Bellicheat did that? Just became a power run team if the scouting report said to do so. I mean we don't have Dante Scarneccia, but we have dudes.

Can you imagine the savagery we could unleash with Mahomes on effective play action? Or boots. I understand that taking options off the table for Mahomes to find isn't necessarily optimal, but Savagely devastating defenses through flexibility is.

Oh well, it won't happen, but we'll see if we keep ROJO around and maybe take a step in that direction.

FWIW Chiefs reached an injury settlement with Gore.

With the Gore injury, he makes the team.

I'm sure he turned down those offers because they were not starting offers. He'd be welcome here as a backup. Our OL is fantastic as long as they stay on the field. We get an injury, our OL backups look like shit.

I'm sure he goes to Dallas and starts.

Because Harris has looked MUCH better than Carter.
I mean, small sample size, don't see practice, blah blah blah, but yeah. I was really impressed. Probably impressed as much making reads as the physical performance. I think there is something there.

Veach is something else. They turned over almost the entire back half of the roster. We actually have meaningful cuts coming, this team is so much better than it was a year ago, especially on defense.

Yup. It’s really nice having a young and fast defense flying around the field showing maximum effort. That was sorely missing last year in a big way.

Not trying to get ahead of myself but damn this has a chance to be the best draft class in franchise history

I think the 2017 draft has that locked down, but it's looking like this one could be good.

The increase in speed on defense is noticeable.

Just another piece that I think can be utilized in the red zone to make this defense incredibly difficult in close areas. Id use him as my Sam inside the 20.
